Description: Asiatic lilies have a classic lily shaped flower that face up. It is normal for them to have four to five blooms clustered on one stem. The flower of the Asiatic Lily is a bit smaller than the Oriental Lily.

Shelf Life Tips: The shelf life of an Asiatic lily is about one week. Cut about one to two inches of the lily stems at angle before putting them in fresh lukewarm water. Pluck the leaves that will be under the water in the vase and leave a few leaves on above the water. These leaves provide nourishment for the lily. Use flower food in vase and keep the blooms in a cool place.

Fun Facts: Lilies were used for medicine and the bulbs were used to cook with. There is a different meaning for each color of lily. The meanings range from pureness to fertility. Asiatic Lilies have no fragrance.
